OpenOffice is complete suite of office application. The remainder of this lesson will introduce you to a few of the basic concepts and functions of Word Processing and then provide you with links to tutorials which will assist you in expanding your skills using Microsoft Word, the standard word processing software application at Broome Community College. In order to perform word processing, specialized software (known as a Word Processor) is needed.
